NOU & FCAHPTVOM SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
*FEDERAL COLLEGE OF ANIMAL HEALTH AND PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY, VOM AND NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ON STRATEGIC ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIP*.
The Federal College of Animal Health vom, and the National Open University of Nigeria have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Strategic academic partnership.
The event took place at the Provost's office on Friday 18th February, 2022.
While delivering his remarks, the Vice chancenllor of NOUN Prof. Olufemi A. Peters who was represented by the Deputy vice chancenllor (Administration) Prof Isaac Samnani Busuwat said the choice of FCAH&PT, vom as the first point of call for strategic partnership of this nature was because of the very positive assessment and recommendations about the college over a very long and many decades.
Continuing, He said "The thrust of our visit is to create a working relationship between both institutions. ‘Even though we are close to each other, we have not had formal interaction. That's why we are here because we have so many areas to partner"
He further added that both institutions would leverage on the MoU to pursue academic excellence.
In his response, the Provost warmly welcomed the NOUN team to his office and assured the visiting delegation of the College's readiness to collaborate with NOUN.
‘’We appreciate your coming to vom and what we are about to enter will manifest by the special grace of God,"
He stated further, that the partnership will improve the quality of academic performance and open new frontiers of collaboration between the two institutions.
Highlights of the event were the symbolic signing of MoU, Presentation of three(3) copies of the Dean Faculty of Health sciences, Prof. Shehu Usman Adamu, tour of laboratories and facilities and group photographs.
