PROVOST SALUTE NIGERIANS @ 60, PREACH FOR UNITY AND TOLERANCE.
Provost has urged staff to use the occasion of Independence Day celebration as a time of sober reflection and also to thank God for the strides made so far as a nation, noted that despite numerous challenges, the nation was on a right path.
”On this October 1st, 2020, I congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari, Hon. Minister of Agriculture, Alh Sabo Nanono, Governor of Plateau State Barr. Simeon Lalong, Executive Secretary of ARCN Prof. G.H. Sharubutu,mni and all Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 60th Independence anniversary, noting that despite the challenges of nationhood, Nigeria will continue to make progress"
"Nigerians would rather remain together even as we make positive efforts to build a perfect union along the lines of the vision of our founding fathers,” provost said.
Provost further admonished staff and students to be proud of their country and desist from acts that are inimical to the continued corporate existence of the nation.
He commended all staff for the essential services provided by all categories of the college manpower since the outbreak of the corona virus pandemic, noting that such priceless selfless service is part of our patriotic spirit.
Provost urge all staff to be committed to building bridges of tolerance, peace and development.
The provost reiterated his call for dialogue as a means of resolving all developmental, economic and political and security challenges facing the country
"We must together make Nigeria and the college great, this we can't do if we do not work together in unity", Provost said.
